I am a wildlife photographer specializing in wild birds in their natural habitat, supplying high quality images for publication. I was born in County Durham and now live in Cleveland with My Wife. Photographing birds was a natural progression from birding as a teenager in the 1980's. Although every encounter with birds is now seen through the eyes of its photographic potential, I still delight in the simple pleasure of quietly watching wild birds at home in their natural habitat. There's so much to appreciate - beauty, style, grace often mixed with comedy and quirky antics or behaviour that inspires awe. Photographing wildlife has taken me into some wonderful locations and lead to some amazing encounters with wildlife that I try to share through the medium of photography. My images are published worldwide in magazines, calendars, newspapers, greetings cards, books, commercial literature and other media.
